EK Water Blocks EK-FB GA 990FXA-UD7 - Acetal+EN (Nickel)

EK-FB GA 990FXA-UD7 - Acetal+EN (Nickel) EK-FB GA 990FXA-UD7 is a water cooling solution for Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD7 motherboard. This waterblock directly cools AMD 990FX northbridge chip and power regulation (VRM / MOSFETs) module while the SB950 southbridge is cooled by enclosed heatsink. It includes high flow water block design that can be easily used with systems using weaker water pumps.

Base of the waterblock is made of electroless nickel plated (EN) electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality POM Acetal material. The sealing is performed by quality rubber gaskets. Southbridge heatsink is made of black anodized aluminum.

Water block as well as southbridge heatsink are mounted with enclosed M2.5x4 DIN7985 screws and PVC washers. The enclosed 2.1mm nickel plated brass screw-in standoffs allow for easy installation.

Enclosed thermal pad is used on voltage regulator module to improve cooling performance of the waterblock. On the northbridge and southbridge chips please use any electrically non-conductive thermal grease, e.g. Arctic Cooling MX-4.
