EK Water Blocks EK-FB KIT GA X79 (UD7) - Acetal+EN (Nickel)

EK-FB KIT GA X79 (UD7) - Acetal+EN (Nickel) EK-FB KIT GA X79 (UD7) is a hybrid water cooling solution for Gigabyte GA-X79-UD7 motherboard consisting of one water block and one heat sink. The water blocks directly cools power regulation (VRM / MOSFETs) module while the heat sink provides adequate cooling to Intel X79 Express southbridge (PCH) chip. Please note this water block / heat sink kit cools exactly as much heat generating components as Gigabyte factory cooling solution. It is a high flow water block that can be easily used with systems using weaker water pumps.

Base of the water block is made of electroless (EN) nickel plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality POM Acetal material. The sealing is performed by quality rubber gaskets. The southbridge heat sink is made of black painted aluminium.

Water block is mounted with two enclosed M3x6 DIN7985 screws, 2.1mm POM standoffs and PVC washers. The southbridge heat sink is mounted using four 2.1mm nickel plated brass screw-in standoffs (already preinstalled), M2.5x4 DIN7985 screws and PVC washers.

Enclosed 0.5mm thermal pad is used on voltage regulator module to improve cooling performance of the waterblock. On the southbridge please use any electrically non-conductive thermal grease, e.g. Arctic Cooling MX-4 (not included).
