FUNCTIONALITY
SIREX is the new line of composite sinks featured by a flat easthetic which incorporates tow new patents of Elleci. For the first time, there is the installation of the Innovative compact draining system (S.I.R.). It surpassed the last limit of the composite material: the resistance to high temperatures. All models of Sirex Line, in fact, see the application of an Heat Stop Board which has the function to disperse the heat. Another innovation is the size. Sirex line has a width of 51.5 cm, a centimeter and a half more than stardard one but it exploits the same standard.
Innovative and patented compact space saving draining system that optimizes the space under the sink, due to the limited size of 5 cm. Better exploitation and optimization of space under the sink. Increased usable space inside the bowl because the grid, replacing the traditional waste, is laterally placed. Greater water down flow (60 litres/minute). No hole for the overflow: more beauty with the same safety and functionality. Installation and cleaning of the S.I.R. easier because it consists of few elements.
ELECTRONIC OR MECHANICAL FUNCTIONING
Electronic: opening/closing activated by a button placed on the control panel. Equipped by a lithium backup battery, long lasting for a complete autonomy in case of absence of electricity.
Activating of mechanical system: pop-up lifting system with direct action and not rotating, much more efficient, practical and durable.
HEAT STOP BOARD (H.S.B): ELLECI PATENT
Up to date, the last limit of the composite sink has been the limited resistance to high temperatures. The resistance limit tends to remain at maximum at about 250°C.
However this limit is fairly restrictive, considering that a lot of pots and pans, coffee pots, teapots, etc. may axceed it, hence the need to develop a system that does not limit such use.
The H.B.S. is based on a AISI 316 stainless steel plate application of a thickness of about 5 mm inserted into a slot placed on the sink drainer center, so that to make its use more practical furthermore to enable the steel plate to disperse the accumulated heat due to any contact with very hot objects, there are 4 spacer pins which create a gap between the steel plate and the composite material of the drainer surface. In this way, accumulated heat from the plate is easily dissipated into the air without altering the surface of the sink.
The specers facilitate the placement of the plate on the sink keeping it blocked into its position.
In order to clean it, the removal is extremely simple and fast. Thanks to this innovation, the composite sink surpassed its last limit, while improving its visual impact due to the combination of two different materials.
