15A2 15" All-in-One LCD Desktop Touchcomputer 400MHz, 80 GB, SATA, 1024x768, 16.7M, 500:1, 230cd/m2 The 15A2 touchcomputer with dual video-display capability includes the choice of the industry-leading Elo TouchSystems touch technologies: AccuTouch five-wire resistive, IntelliTouch surface acoustic wave, CarrollTouch infrared and the company's innovative Acoustic Pulse Recognition (APR) that blends the benefits of all three. The space-saving, compact design of the 15A2 touchcomputer offers increased flexibility for simplified integration of a variety of optional field-replaceable peripherals that it shares with the 17A2 touchcomputer and 1729L touchmonitor: three-track magnetic stripe reader (MSR); customer-facing display; biometric fingerprint reader; and 3-watt speaker bar with or without optional single line or omni-directional barcode scanner. A unique cable management design conceals cables from view, providing additional security from tampering and robust tie-downs for strain relief. The multi-adjustable stand offers flexibility to accommodate a variety of installation configurations and the stand is easily removed for secure mounting to countertops and walls. Serviceability is enhanced with easy access to the hard drive and compact flash through a slide-out drawer.
The Elo 15A2 15" LCD all-in-one touchcomputer is an attractive solution for POS applications. Its optional peripherals can easily be integrated into the 15A2’s compact design. A choice of optional peripherals can be installed including: a magnetic stripe reader, vacuum fluorescent, rear-facing LED customer display, biometric fingerprint recognition device, and speaker bar with/without a builtin
single or omni-directional barcode scanner. Its 1024 x 768 resolution with a 5:4 ratio displays clear, precise graphics and a contrast ratio of 500:1 together with a typical LCD panel brightness of 300 nits provides bright, high contrast for improved readability.
