Backwards Compatible
The Eminent EM4541 Wireless N Router is backwards compatible with 54Mbps and 11Mbps devices, so you can still use your existing wireless network adapter to connect. To gain maximum wireless speed and range we advise you to use an Eminent N network adapter (EM4555 and EM4554 11N USB adapters, EM4557 wDESK 300 PCI adapter).
