Securestack B3 48 port - 1 Gbit/s, 16000 entries
Why buy a regular switch when you can buy an Enterasys SecureStack for less? The SecureStack™ B-series stackable switch family delivers cost-effective Layer 2 switching with embedded security support for 802.1x, Web and MAC authentication, RFC 3580 VLAN quarantine, and support for Secure Networks policy through an optionally purchased upgrade license. Advanced QoS capabilities deliver L2/L3/L4 classification, bandwidth flow control and traffic prioritization to support IP telephony (VoIP) and IP Multicast (IPMC) voice/video/data convergence applications. High-availability features include support for closed-loop stacking, redundant power, power over Ethernet (PoE), fault-tolerant management, rapid re-convergence (802.1w RSTP), and link-aggregation (802.3ad). Closed-loop stacking assures that a single switch or cable connection failure in the stack will not impact the overall stack operation.
Up to eight (8) SecureStack B-Series switches can be supported in a single stack with one IP address for complete stack management. A single stack supports up to 384 10/100/1000Mbps ports with 32 gigabit uplinks.
