HDMI 4K Cable Equalizer, Black
The Extron UHD4K 101 is a one input, one output HDMI cable equalizer for 4K video signals. Used at the destination end of a long HDMI cable run, it actively equalizes poor or marginal source signals, reduces jitter and skew, and adds output pre-emphasis to reliably extend the 4K signal up to 50 feet (15 meters) when used with Extron HDMI Pro Series cables. The UHD4K 101 ensures optimal image quality with video signals up to 4096x2160 @ 30 Hz. The cable equalizer can be powered by the connected HDMI source or the included external power supply, making the UHD4K 101 ideal for use in permanent installations as well as temporary applications.
The UHD4K 101 compensates for poor source signals or low-quality cabling, and can be used in conjunction with the Extron HD 4K 110 Series and other AV products, to provide a cost effective means for extending 4K video signals from HDMI-equipped devices. HDCP compliance ensures extension of HDCP-encrypted content from Blu‑ray™ Disc players, satellite and cable tuners, DVRs, laptop computers, and other HDCP‑enabled sources.
The UHD4K 101 can be powered by the +5 VDC provided on the HDMI output port of the attached source device. This capability eliminates the need for an external power supply although an energy-efficient universal power supply ships with the unit. Use of the included power supply is recommended for optimum signal integrity. An LED indicator provides a quick means of verifying power and signal presence from the source.
The UHD4K 101 is housed in a compact 1" (2.5 cm) high, one‑eighth rack width enclosure for easy placement and concealment.
