It is finally here! The long-awaited arrival of the new face of charging is over. We are pleased to announce the release of the Fenix ARE-X2 Dual Channel Smart Charger that supports Micro USB charging and USB discharging. The Fenix ARE-X2 smart charger is designed for many types of batteries such as 26650, 18650, 16340, 14500, and 10440 batteries. It features Micro USB charging and USB discharging, LED charging and discharging indicators, LED battery power indicator, and a four security protection design. With the LED battery power indicator, you will never have to worry about not knowing the status of your battery.

- Preferred discharging channel will be the left slot. If the left slot does not contain Li-ion battery, then the right channel will be checked for a Li-ion battery. If there is a Li-ion battery in the right channel, then the right channel will chosen to discharge.
- When the discharging voltage is 3.0V, then discharging will cease.
- Blue LED will flash when discharging starts. It will go out when the discharging is complete.
- Ni-MH and Ni-CD batteries WILL NOT operate the discharging feature of the ARE-X2. You won't be able to charge a device using those batteries.
