Wooden Railway Gator, 2+ Gator is the newest character to arrive on the Island of Sodor. He is a brave engine who works in the mountains. In the Tale of the Brave movie, Gator teaches the Steam Team something very important about bravery—that “being brave isn’t the same as not feeling scared.” Gator’s real name is Gerald, but he got his nickname because his long, sloping water tank makes him look like an alligator.
