Vizelex RhinoCam for Canon EOS M Mount MILC Cameras with Mamiya 645 Lens Adapter If you have a SLR or DSLR camera and other maker/mount lenses, the Fotodiox Mount Adapters allow you to use your lenses on the film/digital camera body. Adapting larger format lens to smaller format sensors provides excellent edge-to-edge sharpness; the smaller image field helps minimize the effects of lens distortion and aberration by using the "sweet spot" or center of the larger lens image circle.

This Fotodiox lens mount adapter is made with high standard precision. The all metal design and polished surface is designed to guarantee smooth mounting and long lasting experiences. This adapter has a built-in focus control dial which allows the lens to focus when it is not attached to a Voigtländer Prominent camera. This adapter allows the Voigtländer Nokton 50mm and Ultron 50mm Lenses to fit on a Leica M Mount Camera or Module.

Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm and other functions will not operate correctly while using this adapter. Stop-down mode will need to be used when metering since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body. Infinity focusing is guaranteed. The adapter is rangefinder coupled for easy focusing!

The Leica M 6-bit lens coding system works together with firmware in the newer camera bodies (starting with M8) to correct for various lenses. The lens coding is called ‘6-bit coding‘ because six fields in the bayonet ring are marked in black or white to represent a number from 1 to 64 in binary code. The information on the lens is used to help the camera to optimize image quality and this information is also written into the EXIF image file.
