Introducing the new Freecom LTO-5 tapedrive. This latest member of the LTO family has up to 3000GB (3TB) compressed storage capacity and transfers data at a speed of up to 1TB per hour. The new LTO-5 series is equipped with a high performance 6Gb SAS interface which makes the installation as easy as possible. Like all previous LTO tape drive generations, LTO-5 is two generations backwards read compatible and is able to write data on standard LTO-4 media.
