The ETERNUS DX90 offers as entry-level disk storage systems to Fibre Channel with the 8 Gbit / s enhanced connectivity with 8 ports / system. The systems are characterized by ease of installation, configuration, maintenance and simple operation and can be integrated into host operating systems, servers, network infrastructure and backup solutions. The ETERNUS DX90 offers fully equipped RAID levels (0, 1, 5, 1 +0, 5 +0, 6) with MAID for immediate savings in power and cooling costs. This is made possible by the fact that infrequently used RAID groups may want to EcoMode. With the virtualization features in the DX90 ETERNUS for RAID migration, data can be migrated easily and dynamically between RAID groups. The ETERNUS DX90 is equipped with high-availability features, such as the Data Block Guard feature that adds an 8-byte sense code per 512 bytes to ensure data integrity, enterprise-class. The energy-saving storage system that scales from 600 GB to 240 TB and all the latest offers high-performance SAS and Nearline SAS disk drives with high capacities. The standard system includes 8 snapshotsu. snapshot can be expanded to 1,024. The sytem has eight 8 Gb / s Fibre Channel host ports can be connected to the SAN-mode up to 128 servers. The special feature of DX90 ETERNUS beteht is that one can achieve between 2 ETERNUS DX90 systems, synchronous or asynchronous mirroring as a high availability solution.
