The Fujitsu fi-5530C2 Departmental Scanner offers a rich feature set in a compact package. Measuring just 399 x 225 x 193 mm, the fi-5530C2 is an A3 duplex scanner capable of a vigorous duty cycle of up to 5,000 documents per day.
Performance Scanning for Demanding Users
It scans at speeds up to 50 ppm simplex / 100 ipm simplex (landscape, 200 dpi), featuring dual colour CCDs with true, 600-dpi resolution for capturing subtle details, and uses ultrasonic double-feed detection for reliable, automatic scanning. For greater ease-of-use, the fi-5530C2 includes a 100-page automatic document feeder (ADF) that handles documents ranging from A8 up to A3, and also scans documents up to 863 mm long. For simplified connectivity, the Fujitsu fi-5530C2 features a dual-interface, including ports for Ultra SCSI and high-speed USB 2.0 connections.

The fi-5530C2 converts documents to cross-platform Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF, PDF/A), TIFF and other file formats, and boasts image enhancement capabilities provided by the bundled piece of VRS Professional software (which cleans up scanned images, providing a huge improvement in OCR and ICR accuracy) and the advanced batch scanning features included with ScandAll PRO V2 Premium. Extended Batch-scan Performance
The fi-5530C2 comes bundled with new ScandAll PRO V2 Premium scanning software, which features embedded zonal OCR functionality, multi-streaming options and a wealth of output format including password protected PDF and PDF/A formats. In daily operation tasks the user can be supported by setting up job routine profiles that can easily be ex- and imported by multiple scan stations.
ScandAll PRO V2 Premium also provides automatic job separation functionality using separator sheets with printed barcodes and patch codes to sort image data from multiple page feeds into user-defined files. This function has been developed for fast batch scanning even of mixed document loads, improving overall work efficiency. ScandAll PRO V2 Premium additionally offers job separation and indexing functionality using 2D codes (matrix codes). ScandAll PRO also features a powerful new "ScanSnap mode" function that makes the device perfect for personal productivity office tasks, which do not require special scan settings.
At the press of a button you can capture the document to a PDF and automatically drop it in document or picture folders. ScanSnap mode also lets you scan straight into Microsoft® Word, Excel or PowerPoint documents, send your document to Microsoft® SharePoint, and even edit the PDF before it's saved.
The fi-5530C2 comes newly armed with a centralized administration feature that system administrators can use to manage the installation and operation of multiple image scanners and network scanners from one location. Monitor scanner running status, update scanner drivers and software and more with this powerful feature.
