Fujitsu’s TP-X II 500 Series point-of-sale (POS) controller family is designed for retailers that require powerful performance, flexibility and connectivity in a more environmentally sustainable retailing platform. The highly configurable third release of the successful TP-X POS solution incorporates 2nd generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i3, i5 and Pentium(R) processors, delivering the power of a desktop computer in two mobile laptop form factors that let retailers create customer touch points in the most diverse and challenging environments.
Incorporating Intel’s® 2nd Generation Core™ i3, i5, Pentium and Celeron processors with hardware assisted AMT Remote Management Technology to minimise service visits, the TP-X II Model 520, 530 and 550 provide a retail-hardened multi-function control
unit delivering high-performance, excellent graphics, low power consumption and cool running for enhanced reliability.
With a comprehensive selection of powered and non-powered ports, the new TP-X II models can be deployed in the most demanding situations. A 270W high-efficiency power supply enables a full complement of peripherals to be directly powered from the control unit, simplifying installation and reducing the need for multiple power outlets.
The optional second hard disc and integrated RAID controller enables the TP-X II to be configured as a resilient server supporting multiple applications and client terminals. Additionally, with support for dual screens and high-definition audio, this single platform can be deployed in multiple roles, such as on a service desk, powering digital media, or in a kiosk so as to reduce installation and support costs.
Complementing the TP-X II Coupé control unit are a full range of Fujitsu and OEM retail peripherals which may be installed in a dispersed or stacked configuration. The TP-X II Coupé Models 510, 520, 530 and 550 provide retailers with a range of energy saving solutions to reduced power consumption, heat and costs. In addition to power saving measures, the Fujitsu TP-X II control unit conforms to the Fujitsu Super Green programme utilising high quality green materials and components all conforming to the RoHS and WEEE standards.
