Are you printing PLA?
Lower your running costs by using the BuildTak printing plate at room temperature without heating up the heated-bed. This will lower your electricity needs while maintaining excellent model adhesion.
Are you printing ABS?
Lower your running costs by using the BuildTak printing plate at 60-62 degrees C. This will lower the electricity needs while maintaining excelent model adhesion. We recommend this only for models with a base layer up to 100mm x 100mm in size.
Tips from our experts:
- If adhesion degrades over time wipe the cold (!) printing plate with isopropanol
- Increase the gap between the nozzle and the printing bed to ease the removal of the model
Other features:
- Heat resistant
- Abrasion resistant: the plate can be used for multiple prints
- One printing bed: ABS and PLA both adhere strongly to this plate
