The Gigaset C610 offers highly useful functions for families with small children. With the direct call function, you can activate any button on the handset that will immediately dial a designated number when pressed. This allows children to place calls quickly and easily. Anonymous call silencing keeps unknown numbers for disturbing family life. If you have a baby in the house, the baby phone function provides an easy way to monitor your child while you are in another room or even outside the house. You specify the number the baby phone should call once a certain noise level has been reached. This number can be an internal or external line. Immediately contact your child by activating theselectable talk-back function, which projects your voice over speakerphone. A practical day/night switch allows you to mute the handset’s ringer so that the entire family can enjoy a restful night.

The long talk time of up to 12 hours and standby time of up to 185 hours let conversations continue for as long as, and whenever, you like. This phone can be expanded by up to 5 additional handsets (or L410 and 4 additional handsets), bringing calling opportunities to multiple places within your household. You can also program ringtones for 6 different VIP groups, making incoming calls from certain contacts immediately recognizable on the Gigaset C610.

Like all Gigaset cordless phones, it variably reduces the transmitting power from the handset to base station depending on their distance apart. You can also reduce the transmitting power of the Gigaset C610’s base station by 80% simply by selecting the ECO Mode. Furthermore, radiation-free5 ECO Mode Plus turns off the transmitting power when the phone is in standby.
