The different function keys of the Digta SonicMic II Classic are freely programmable with three functions. The function buttons are freely programmable via software to control dictation software and other programmes, including setting the maximum priority for a dictation or switching on hotkey functions.

<b>Ideal dictation microphone for speech recognition</b>
By means of a direct interface to DigtaSoft Voice and Dragon NaturallySpeaking all important speech recognition commands can be performed directly via slide switch or by pressing a button. You do not have to learn the important speech commands. The microphone mute function during stop position of the slide switch prevents speech recognition errors.
The Digta SonicMic II Classic has an additional built-in sound card. The card allows optimum speech recording and playback. The Digta SonicMic II Classic therefore is ideally suited for use with speech recognition.
