The unique QuadFusion™ Mimic material used in this jacket's insulation has most of the properties of down, but absorbs much less water in rough conditions. Coupled a lightweight 30D tear- and wind-resistant DWR-treated Pertex® shell (fluorocarbon-free for great environmental credentials), it's constructed for supreme warmth and dryness.

Meanwhile, the ergonomic design, articulated sleeves and Polartec® Powerstretch® shoulder inserts keep the wearer agile. The jacket is mini-quilted for structure and warmth, contains enough pocket space for those things you can't do without, and is cut short and elasticated at the hem and cuffs - to stay in place, and fit your pack.
