Functioning as a stylish digital wrist watch with time (12hr or 24hr), alarm and calendar function, the Hama HRM-111 also features a heart rate monitor, pedometer, pacer and stopwatch and is great for any sports or fitness enthusiast on the go. Its compact, comfortable design looks great on your wrist whilst providing continuous ECG accurate current, average and min/max heart rate readings using the included adjustable chest strap. Simply fasten the chest strap in place and see your heart rate appear on the watch display within seconds!
With the included PC USB link you no longer just have access to only the current data. The link analyses and all real time data collected and saved by the chest strap during your workout at pre-selectable intervals in an electronic logbook to provide a continuous stream of data in up to 7545 records that can later be used for the assessment or historical comparison of fitness or performance.
A Step Ahead
It is suggested that walking 10,000 steps each day could help improve you health. In order to allow you monitor your step count (up to 999999 steps) the HRM-111 has an integrated pedometer under Distance Mode that can be adjusted to 7 different sensitivity settings depending on your pace. Distance Mode also provides info on distance (to 400km), speed, calorie consumption (up to99999kcal) and exercise time (to 23:59:59), featuring a motion triggered timer, and to aid in keeping in time with a set pace there is a Pacer Mode which sounds a beep at pre-programmable intervals of 40-180 beats per minute to indicate when you should step
Get into the Zone
Featuring Heart Rate Zone Alert, the watch not only reads your current heart rate but can compare it to your estimated maximum heart rate (EMHR) in order to calculate relative Heart Rate. This is displayed on the watch face as a user friendly, readable percentage, something which can be useful in assessing the overall cardio-fitness of a person. In addition, Heart Rate Zone Alert also has a number of other useful applications by being set to sound an alarm when heart rate falls out of a ‘target zone’ e.g. which may be necessary as part of a regimented training regime or when for health reasons heart rate should not be pushed above a specific level.
