Positioning your speaker system
For optimal positioning of your speakers, you should create an angle of 60° between the two satellites, and between the user and the satellites. It is also important that the listening height be at a level between the woofers and the tweeters.
Thanks to their performance, you can even position the DJ Monitor 5 speakers lying flat on their side (i.e. horizontally), while maintaining optimal positioning in relation to your position.
Advanced design
Thanks to their experience in developing the XPS 2.080 DJ Monitor speakers, which have been widely praised by the DJ community for their excellent precision as well as their accessibility, Hercules’ Audio engineers made use of their cutting-edge equipment (anechoic chamber, test benches) to create this monitoring system, which responds to the needs of the most demanding DJs.
The development of the DJ Monitor 5 speakers required two years of work in conjunction with professionals in the world of DJing.
The speakers’ functionalities, the positions of controls, the shapes of the controls, the volume knob’s position markers, and the location of the bass ports on the speakers respond to the needs of the majority of users in terms of ensuring optimal audio rendering during mixing sessions, as well as providing full and powerful audio monitoring.
