Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 BG Mini-PCI Adapter from IBM The new Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Mini-PCI Adapter from IBM offers secure wireless connectivity with flexibility and performance for wireless-upgradable ThinkPad notebooks. This Mini PCI adapter is based on two Wireless LAN (WLAN) standards: IEEE 802.11g (1) and 802.11b.

Performance Specifications:
This adapter supports a maximum physical layer throughput of 54 Mbps, with automatic fallback to 48 Mbps, 36 Mbps, 24 Mbps, 18 Mbps, 12 Mbps, 9 Mbps, and 6 Mbps in OFDM mode, and 11 Mbps, with automatic fallback to 5.5 Mbps, 2Mbps, 1 Mbps in CCK mode.
