TotalStorage SAN Fabric Switch Model H08 This IBM TotalStorage SAN Switch option is designed for entry-level SAN applications with eight Fibre Channel ports, four shortwave fibre optic transceivers, a single fixed power supply, rack-mounted Power Distribution Unit jumper cord and fans in 1U rack height. The base switch function supports one connection to one other IBM TotalStorage SAN Switch in a two-switch fabric, as well as support for optional full- fabric activation. It is designed to deliver next-generation performance and function for Fibre Channel storage area networks.
