Already the most energy efficient model in the ThinkCentre family, the M Series features more EPEAT® Gold, Energy Star 4.0 compliant models leading to reduced power consumption, heat emissions and noise. The end result for users is energy savings and a cooler, quieter environment.
The ThinkCentre M58 desktops support Hardware Password Manager (HPM) which is an active directory based on backend management of BIOS and hard drive passwords. In addition to lower cost and better security, HPM provides for easy recovery and management of hard drive passwords and overcomes the major objection to encrypting hard drives. It combines seamlessly with fully encrypting drives which are more secure the software solutions.
