Canon SX1 IS Housing For the most discerning of underwater photographers we offer a full-featured yet affordable camera housings for Canon Powershot SX-series cameras. These durable housings are molded of crystal clear polycarbonate for corrosion free operation up to a depth of 200ft (60m).

Every camera function is accessible in this very sophisticated housing installation.

The housing comes standard with flat port which allows full use of the camera's zoom range without vignetting. Due to the exceptionally long throw of the camera's lens, no wide angle options are available for this housing.

The included tray and dual release handles offers balance and exceptional handling while providing a convenient attachment point for optional Substrobe mounting arms. Strobe arms can be released easily at the touch of a button whether above or below water.

Since so much of the light is blocked by the lens port, the camera's built-in flash cannot be used to illuminate the subject. We recommend adding an external strobe for best results. Read on for more information on lighting options.
