The new Imation Solid State Drive PRO 7500 powered by Mtron delivers latest-generation solid state storage and controller technology with increased speed and capacity. The PRO 7500 series is an ideal solution for enterprise, corporate and IT infrastructure applications with extreme performance needs such as high-performance storage arrays, database servers, Web servers and other network appliances. An Imation Solid State Drive (SSD) emulates a hard disk drive (HDD), but has no motors or moving parts, providing faster and more reliable data storage than traditional HDDs and with reduced heat and noise generation.
Featuring an ultra high speed internal data bus, the PRO 7500 delivers extremely high sustained read and write speeds, impressive input and output operations per second (IOPS) performance and virtually no seek time.
The PRO 7500 leverages Mtron’s controller technology to deliver improved efficiency by accelerating drive-intensive applications, reducing overall power consumption and enhancing lifetime reliability. Backed by Imation’s more than 50 years of data storage experience, and proven service expertise, the PRO 7500 is easy to upgrade, install and use.
