Air Car, 15 km/h, 50 - 80 m, ABS plastic
Many respected engineers have been trying for years to bring a compressed air car to the market, believing strongly that compressed air can power a viable "zero pollution" car.
Now the first commercial available toy car a compressed air car, is on the verge of production and beginning to attract a lot of attention. This air car is a simple, light play-room car, with a light chassis and a body of ABS plastic. Most important, it is incredibly cost-efficient to run . Its mileage will be about double that of the most advanced electric car. The car has a top speed of 15 km/h in a distance of 50 - 80 meter. Refilling the car means to produce compressed air. In about one minutes the car will be ready to go for an other turn.
How does it work ? Compressed air is stored in the top transparent fibre tank. The expansion of this air pushes the piston and creates movement. Due to the absence of combustion there is no pollution.
