GSM 4.2 Compact Dualband, SMS, CSD for the junction box
With the INSYS GSM compact, almost every controller can be upgraded to a
very affordable alarm indicator and remote controlling system for
decentralized monitoring tasks. The connection to the SPS is made directly via the serial interface (RS232). The device also offers the option to send alarms (see below), or to control the SPS remotely, using SMS or dial tone DTMF. Entering user-defined text messages, defining alarm targets or other configurations are performed with the transparent, windows-based configuration software HSComm. The required power supply is 10...60 VDC.
Send alarms and switch remotely with the GSM compact:
The INSYS GSM compact has two digital alarm inputs, which enable the
distribution of up to 20 different messages to 40 different recipients. Via SMS or dial tone (DTMF) the two relay outputs of the GSM modem can be switched remotely.
