INSYS leased line modem for the control cabinet
Leased line modems use the same transmission technology as the public telephone network for direct cable connections, e.g. between different buildings on a company's grounds.
Leased Line modems connect two Party Line modems to several end machines (multi drop). They connect to each other automatically on boot-up. Leased Line modems can also be used with rented Telecom lines, whether fed or unfed. They are pre-configured in pairs as originate and answer versions.
Leased Line modems can transmit the status of the digital inputs to the receiver and its outputs after any change and also periodically.
With the INSYS Modem 336 / 56k any application can be connected to the
world wide available analogue telephone network.
The INSYS Modem 336 / 56k / UL enhances the pure data communication by alarming and security functions: alarms with a user defined text as an SMS, Fax or EMail are triggered by digital inputs.
Data connections and remote configuration are protected by passwords. If Security Callback is activated then the modem establishes only a connection to a predefined number upon an incoming call.
Selective call answer allows only data calls from specified numbers.
Two digitaloutputs can be controlled remotely by a data connection as well as by DTMF tones from a tone dial phone.
