INSYS modem for the control cabinet
The public standard telephone network (PSTN) exists all over the world and is very standardised. Analogue modems transmit digital data using a normal telephone network - any analogue modem or GSM adapter can act as receiver.
The INSYS modems are made for mounting on standard top-hat rails in the control cabinet and support up to 56kbps, data compression and backup accordiing to ITU standards, 10-bit and 11-bit data formats, adjustment to the telephone networks in 97 countries, and a range of extra functions.

Port
INSYS modems connect to the local application (e.g. a control program) via serial ports. For modems with ethernet access, please view the link on MoRoS.
INSYS modems can be configured using the free software HSComm or directly using AT commands.
