10/100 Mbps PCI Fast Ethernet network card
The PEF 132 network card is a 32-bit device enabling the connection of personal computers to data communication networks. It is compatible with PCI bus specification revisions 2.1 and 2.2 and supports automatic configuration (plug-and-play) of IRQ and the I/O address from the BIOS of the computer in which it is being installed.
Comes with a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 port, with speed auto-negotiation, enabling it to reach transfer rates of up to 200 Mbps in Full-Duplex mode. It uses the renowned “single-chip” Realtek controller and supports the “PCI Bus Master” resource, reducing the need for CPU processing from the computer where the network card is installed, thus optimizing general data communication performance.
