High-Gain Outdoor Parabolic Grid Antenna, 2.4 GHz, 24 dBi, 60 cm (23 in.) dish, White
The INTELLINET NETWORK SOLUTIONS High-Gain Outdoor Parabolic Grid Antenna is used to extend the range of coverage for the wireless network in a single direction. The grid design generates a very narrow focus beam which allows transmitting the wireless signal over an extremely long distance.
Increased Range
Since the High-Gain Outdoor Grid Antenna provides a very high gain of 24 dBi, the distance between two of these antennas can be many miles. For example, if connected to a wireless access point with an output power rating of 1 W, the signal can travel up to 15 km (9 miles).*
Even if your wireless connection points are much closer to each other, the grid antenna is your best option. The increased signal gain of the grid antenna generates a much stronger wireless signal, and a stronger wireless signal always translates into higher data throughput.
Waterproof and Severe Weather Resistant
The antenna is made using weatherproof and corrosion-resistant material, and can be used indoors or outdoors. Its grid design makes it very resistant to high wind speeds — enough to survive a Category 2 hurricane.
Avoid Running Cable Outdoors
Using the High-Gain Outdoor Parabolic Grid Antenna will allow you to avoid the cost and effort associated with running outdoor cable between buildings. Now you don’t need to dig up concrete and disrupt your campus or building-to-building environment in order to expand your wireless network.
* To obtain optimal results in extending the range of your wireless network, it is recommended that a professional installer service be consulted for a site survey and proper installation. The actual achievable wireless distance depends on the installation environment and may vary.
