WLA522E-IL - Plenum-rated w/ dual radios 802.11a/b/g/n 2x2 MIMO, 1x 1000BASe-T 802.3af Poe
This dual-radio, 2x2 MIMO, 802.11n, indoor wireless access point is for high-density enterprise installations requiring maximum capacity. It optimizes traffic flow, reduces latency, can be a high-speed mesh access point, mesh portal, or wireless distribution system (WDS) bridge to extend WLAN coverage.
Each of its two radios (2.4GHz/5.5GHz) supports two transmit chains and two receive chains, and four built-in antennas create omni-directional coverage. A 1GbE port with auto-negotiation mode, is compatible with 802.3af and 802.3at PoE infrastructure
The WLA522 detects rogues and intrusions, as well as denial-of-service (DoS) attacks. ActiveScan scans all 802.11 channels and SentryScan enables the WLA522 to be a dedicated sentry that provides non-stop scanning.
The WLA522 can troubleshoot interference with typical RF scanning enhanced by the its ability to gather spectrum intelligence while providing access or as a dedicated spectrum sensor.
