The KanexPro HDBASE100POEL is a transmitter - receiver set that enables you to route ultraHD signals up to 330 feet (100 meters) over single CAT6 cable using 5 Play HDBaseT Technology.
<b>Key Features for AV Design and Install:</b>
- Support for PoE – Power over Ethernet from either side of the extender set (Tx to Rx - Rx to Tx) saving electricians cost and one power outlet.
- Supports 4K UHD resolutions up to 60Hz.
- LAN accessibility available through 1x Ethernet port on the Sender to route Internet signals to 2x Ethernet jack on the Receiver for PC, media player or Smart TV connectivity over a single CAT6 cable using HDBaseT technology.
- Locking HDMI connectors and power supplies which protects the unit from cable jostling and signal loss.
- HDMI loop for local monitor out while extending 330’ to the receiver side. Fully compliant with the latest HDCP specifications and supports EDID management for proper resolution output up to ultra HD 4K, 1080p/60 & 3D.
The transmitter and receiver sets are built with aircraft grade aluminum enclosure which provides light weight for mounting behind flat-panel TV's or over the ceiling structures with sturdy finish.
<b>Applications:</b>
Ideally used for Digital Signage, Corporate AV, classroom technology and government applications where you can route ultra HD signals up to 330 feet (100meters) over a single STP CAT6a cable and provide power over Ethernet to the receiver side of the extender.
<b>Please note:</b>
Do not use couplers between the RJ-45/ CAT6 cables, this will cause degradation. To reduce video dropout problems from lightings, ceiling fans and other EMI issues, it is strongly recommended that you terminate shielded STP CAT6 or CAT5e cables and use shielded RJ45 connectors with our extender products.
