EXR 2581 multi-switch 5 to 1x8 - Cascadable single-cable multi-switch for the distribution of digital Sat IF signals (including HDTV) and terrestrial signals over one cable to up to eight receivers in a single family household
- No channel restrictions - the complete range of channels on a satellite is transmitted
- Independent selection of horizontal/vertical, low/high band and transponder from each receiver
- Switching of horizontal/vertical, low/high band and the transponder selection takes place in the multi-switch, controlled by the receiver using a special DiSEqCTM command set as per EN 50494
- For the transponder selection, special tuner modules, so-called SCR (Satellite Channel Router), are integrated into the single-cable multi-switch for conversion to the subscriber frequencies
- Each receiver is assigned a fi xed subscriber frequency (a twin receiver needs two subscriber frequencies)
- Satisfi es the single-cable standard to EN 50494, i. e. all single-cable system components that meet this standard can be installed in a satellite system
- Reception of the terrestrial band even possible with satellite receiver switched off
- In the Sat band, adjustable gain with integrated pre-emphasis provides optimal signal splitting to
the subscriber connection
- Up to 8 single-cable multi-switches can be connected in a cascade
