When installing structured cabling the LAN Inspector does wire mapping, cable length measurement (TDR), remote jack ID and tracing. When dealing with network services the LAN Inspector can find Ethernet service and service speed, power-over-Ethernet service and service level, determine if DHCP is available, show other clients on the network and Ping servers.

The KE7200 LAN Tester is an easy-to-use electronic test tool that verifies and troubleshoots all types of
Ethernet installations, from essential copper wiring tests to active IP PING. Advanced copper test
capabilities include active TDR for cable length and detection of split pairs even on jumpers (down to 1
meter or 3 feet). The KE7200 can show multiple faults simultaneously.
