LANCOM PoE Power Injector is the perfect add-on to LANCOM Access Points. In situations where the placing of an Access Point has to be far away from power points the LANCOM PoE Power Injector is used. In order to realize high performance outdoor radio connections, Access Points should be placed as near to the antenna as possible to reduce the length of the antenna cable. Utilizing the possibility to feed power and data over the same cable reduces complexity and costs. LANCOM PoE Power Injector fully complies to the IEEE 802.3af standard. So it is flexibly usable also in inhomogeneous installations due to its secure short circuit safety and protection of non-PoE devices. The 48V Wide Range Power Supply is included in the light weight and compact size housing. No further equipment is needed to feed Access Points via LAN cable.
