The ability to place the power supply up to 100m away from the access point allows free placement for a perfect WLAN coverage. In addition, being able to provide power based on the PoE+ standard IEEE 802.3at allows using high-performance access points, for example the LANCOM L-13xx series, without any performance reduction. By utilizing an auto-sense algorithm, it recognizes the necessary amount of power of a connected device and supplies the amount needed for high energy-efficiency. Thanks to Gigabit support it can be connected to non-PoE supporting Gigabit switches, allowing connected PoE devices the full performance of the Gigabit network. Due to the integrated power supply, no additional components but the included power cable are necessary.
