High-powered networking.
The Fast Ethernet Uplink makes the LANCOM 7111 VPN ideally suited to all broad-band connections and, with the VPN hardware acceleration, offers sufficient capacity to support up to 100 VPN dial-in or site-coupling connections in parallel. With our IPSec extension LANCOM Dynamic VPN, a connection can be actively established to a remote site that has a dynamic IP address (standard DSL connection) at any time-even if the remote site is not always on. Existing networks can be easily integrated into a VPN thanks to N:N IP address mapping. And the comprehensive LANCOM portfolio means that the most fitting type of terminal device and client is sure to be available.
Versatile functionality.
The LANCOM high-security firewall with intrusion detection provides your network with secure protection from outside attack. The integrated bandwidth management and separable switch ports mean that productive access to the Internet, your own server, or for enterprise-critical applications can all be operated at one common connection. The management tools LANconfig and LANmonitor are supplied and support not only efficient remote maintenance of remote sites but also the full real-time monitoring and logging of established connections, data-transfer volumes, and all security-related events.
Efficient and cost-effective.
IPSec VPN doesn't only mean that telephone-line based dial-in solutions and leased lines are outmoded; it also enables the establishment of enterprise-based VoIP solutions within existing networks for further significant reductions in expenditure. The LANCOM QoS mechanisms ensure that VoIP applications remain stable under any load situation. And the LANCOM operating system LCOS benefits from free software updates that are available on a regular basis.
