The LANCOM ES- 2126+ is a managed Fast- Ethernet switch with 24x 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports and two combo ports TP/SFP 10/100/1000 for Gigabit Ethernet connections. This
switch features not only store- and- forward mode but also priority queuing, allowing network bandwidth to be reserved for certain data packets such as voice data.
More Performance
The LANCOM ES- 2126+ provides power where it's needed: The backplane can handle data throughput at up to 8.8 Gbps. A high- speed uplink is assured by the backbone connection
via Gigabit ports. Speed is provided by very short latency times under 5μs as required by the switch to determine the output port for a certain input port. The power of the LANCOM
ES- 2126+ is demonstrated by the size of the source address table: The switch stores and manages up to 8000 MAC addresses. The LANCOM ES- 2126+ is also custom designed for
network virtualization: It integrates perfectly into LANCOM's Advanced Routing and Forwarding (ARF) and it supports up to 256 active VLANs

constantly provided with ample bandwidth to avoid interruptions to conversations. Conducting bandwidth control, the LANCOM ES- 2126+ prioritizes the data traffic according to predefined criteria (e.g. voice data or certain ports). The LANCOM ES- 2126+ has four- level prioritization to control the sequence of incoming and outgoing data traffic.

The LANCOM ES- 2126+ gives you the assurance that rogue clients cannot use this switch to gain access to your network. Configuring 802.1x access control for all ports ensures
that unauthorized devices plugged into a switch port cannot gain access to the network. The LANCOM ES- 2126+ also features rigorous defenses against attacks such as MAC
flooding: The MAC address learning limit can be set individually and provides reliable protection from attacks that make your switch a bottle- neck that is incapable of functioning
properly.
