With its integrated 108 Mbps radio module supporting the WLAN standard IEEE IEEE 802.11g the LANCOM L-54g Wireless is also fully compatible to the IEEE 802.11b standard. This opens a vast range of possibilities where to use the LANCOM L-54g Wireless: at the bureau, in open spaces or to interconnect LANs. Using the optional LANCOM Public Spot Option or the LANCOM W-Spot Box, the LANCOM L-54g Wireless is the ideal device for Public Hot Spot installations.

Management and supervision of these security-features are made easy and comfortable with the help of LANtools (LANconfig / LANmonitor).

The LANCOM L-54g Wireless offers extensive and flexible Management - possibilities as being recommended in professional surroundings: LANconfig and WEBconfig will make the installation and maintenance of RADIUS, SNMP, Syslog and TFTP of the LANCOM L-54g Wireless even in extended installations easy-to-use and comfortable. Trend-setting is the implemented Power-over-LAN standard. Using this alternative power supply via the network cable, a comfortable and independent installation of the Access-Point is made possible.
