ThinkPlus USB 2.0 CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo II Drive (Switzerland) The new ThinkPlus USB 2.0 CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo II Drive is an external, small form factor, portable CD recordable drive that attaches to a computer's USB 2.0 port. The drive can read CD and DVD data and play back DVD movies. Users can also copy music, video or data to inexpensive, write-once CD-R media or to re-writable CD-RW media. The drive does not require the included AC power adapter for normal read/write operations when connected to most ThinkPad notebooks, including the ThinkPad X30, X40, and X60 Series. However, the adapter should be attached before using the drive as a boot-up drive.
