With its dual-standard capability, this equipment supports not only seamless but also simultaneous wireless data transmission between AP and all wireless clients using both standards. The WAP-0003 also features the newest Wireless Super G technology to deliver the data rates up to 108Mbps in a pure LevelOne Super G 108Mbps environment thus provides the best data throughput and blazing transfer speed.
Robust Security
Security is the most important issue for wireless connections. The WAP-0003 Access Point secures your data transmission and prevents hackers from accessing network resources by providing standard 64/128-bit WEP encryption, enhanced WPA (Wi-Fi Process Access) and conforming to 802.1x standard to cooperate with a RADIUS server for wireless user authentication.
Easy to configuration
In order to offer the flexibility of a wireless network environment, this device can also be configured in the Access Point, AP Client and Bridge modes. With the embedded easy-to-setup utility, configuration and installation is not a problem for WAP-0003. The administrator can manually configure device setting through two interfaces, the Web-based management interface and the included Windows utility. You can install the Access Point into Router, Switch or a PC and operate together with a wireless network in minutes. These interfaces allow users to configure all advanced settings of the WAP-0003, including making access restrictions, setting administration and user passwords, and creating status logs.
