Remotely Power On/Off from Web Browser
IPS-0008 gives users the ability to perform this function from anywhere anytime over the Internet with the Internet Explorer browser. This IP power switch is ideal for rebooting servers and other network equipment in server farms and for use as part of remote management systems in office, industry environments.
Intelligent Power Management
Each IPS-0008 provides eight individual outlet switches. The IPS-0008 is designed to remember the configuration of each outlet should there be a power loss thus providing the ability to power-on, power-off or reboot a remote network device whenever the power cable is plugged into the IPS-0008 outlet.
Easy Maintenance and Configuration
The IPS-0008 provides event-triggered or schedule-based control to turn On/Off connected equipments. The IPS-0008 is protected against unauthorized access with SSL and SSH encryption. Administrator and users who have been properly designated can control and view the switching state of any specified combination of sockets.
EMD (Environmental Monitoring Device, Optional)
The EMD is a connectivity device that allows you to remotely monitor the temperature, humidity, smoke detector , motion detector and universal (any device with normally-open or closed).
