Plug & Play Installation
The LG-Ericsson iPECS ES-1000G Gigabit Ethernet Switches provide a true plug and play solution for connecting various networking devices. These switches easily connect to any network using a combination of auto negotiation to select the optimum speed and duplex for each link and auto MDI/MDIX to remove the need for cross over cables. Each product interoperates seamlessly with the customer’s existing network at wirespeed without any additional configuration, and it is easy to diagnose and monitor the operation status and activity using the per-port diagnostic LEDs.
High-Performing Gigabit Switching
LG-Ericsson iPECS ES-1000G Gigabit Ethernet Switches can transmit and receive traffic seamlessly in full-duplex mode and at non-blocking wirespeed performance. Each port supports seamlessly up to 2Gbps of bandwidth for transmitting and receiving packets in full-duplex mode. In addition, each port supports auto uplink making it straightforward to design the ES-1000G Switches to expand or upgrade your existing network.
Industry Standards Compatibility
LG-Ericsson iPECS ES-1000G Gigabit Ethernet Switches are compatible with industry standards such as IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab, 802.3x. These switches are seamlessly built into the customers’ existing networks and deliver the highly reliable performance needed to support SMB IT networks.
Embedded Simple QoS
In addition to the industry standards switch features, LG-Ericsson iPECS ES-1000G Switches incorporate simple QoS mechanisms based on 802.1p tagging and IP TOS. These mechanisms use priority queues, permitting the customer’s network to deal with VoIP traffic effectively using a higher priority. These switches are optimized for small offices to setup a simple VoIP network with a minimum investment and fully take advantage of the benefits of IP Telephony in a cost effective way. 802.1p tagging and IP TOS based QoS are preconfigured at the factory based on standards.
Environmentally-Friendly Design
In today’s world, it is critical to build an environmentally-friendly network. Even though the LG-Ericsson ES-1000G Gigabit Ethernet Switches are entry-level unmanaged switches, they support the industry standard EEE (Energy Efficient Ethernet) technology. EEE offers significant efficiency savings for SMB networks.
