With Photos on CD & DVD 6, you can create exciting presentations and slideshows in 16:9 widescreen format, with seasoned movie effects, virtual camera movements and fitting background music. No prior knowledge necessary.

Design slideshows in 16:9 widescreen format and burn to video CD/DVD
You can specify at the start whether or not you wish your project to be in 16:9 format. The design and editing is automatically set to 16:9 mode, as are the matching DVD menus. On import, conventional 4:3 format photos and videos can be customized automatically to fit the widescreen format without any distortions. Once burned to video CD/DVD, you can enjoy the results on your widescreen TV in fullscreen cinema format without any annoying black bars or distortions.

"Magnetic" objects and new decorative elements
If you use video clips in your slideshows as well, you can follow the movement of individually specified pixels in the background of any video, photo, decorative element or text automatically, depending on the output material – just like a magnet. Amaze your audience with entertaining shows: Decorate people with funny accessories (glasses, new haircuts, etc.), even when they're moving, point to specific picture elements with arrows, have speech bubbles follow faces or make faces unrecognizable with black bars, just like you know from TV reports. In addition, new, practical, and funny decorative elements are also available.

Directly manage any MAGIX Online Album
All photo, video, and music files from your MAGIX Online Album are now accessible directly from the integrated file browser (Media Pool). This way you can effortlessly import already existing media from your MAGIX Online Album into current projects via drag & drop, making the upload of new media files now even easier. It's also ideal for sharing private media with friends who can be given an access password, for example, for holidays, parties, community events spent together, etc.

Move slideshow content one-by-one or as a group
In the timeline view of your slideshow you can now move photo, video, music, and text objects independently of one another. This can be practical if you want to create more space for additional photos at a certain point. Alternately you can move every subsequent object together using the usual "Intelligent" mouse mode so that previously designed passages are not altered.
