Marshall’s trademark heavy sound has reverberated around the world for more than five decades. The Major 50 FX is a commemorative version of the Marshall Major, featuring boosted sound and gold detailing on the outer ear caps. Embodying the classic Marshall look, the inner ear caps are lined with fret detailing borrowed from the 50th anniversary line of amplifiers and a vinyl headband that’s inscribed with the date and place the legend was born: London England 1962.
Classic Marshall
The Major 50 FX is a headphone that’s all Marshall. The inner ear caps borrow the fret detailing used for the Marshall 50th anniversary line of amplifiers, while the outer parts are adorned with gold accents.
Vintage Marshall is also echoed on the headband, constructed from the same vinyl used for Marshall amps, and as a nod to Marshall’s glory, the inside is inscribed with the date and place it all began – London, England, 1962.
Volume Control (FX)
As an FX product, the Marshall Major 50 comes fully loaded with an Apple-certified microphone and remote as well as volume control, a feature not found on standard Major models.
NOTE: This headphone is compatible with products other than Apple, but the volume functionality will not work.
Carrying Pouch
If you ever decide to take these puppies off, each pair comes with a roadworthy canvas carrying pouch for transport and storage.
Gold accents
From the gold piping on the outer ear caps to the detailing on inner hinges and the 3.5mm stereo plug, the Major 50 FX is all about paying tribute to Marshall’s golden anniversary.
