Maxell’s BD-R Camcorder, Write-Once, Blu-ray discs enable full high-definition quality recording and are compatible with Hitachi’s Blu-ray Disc video camera, launched in August 2007.

Blu-ray disc technology uses a blue-violet laser to achieve the capacity necessary for recording digital high-definition content. BD-R Camcorder discs are designed for use in BD-R compatible camcorders, computer drives and video recorders.
