McKinley KATMAI 40+8 RC Unisex 48L Polyester Olive,Red travel backpack

Polyester, 40l + 8l, red/olive McKINLEY’s Katmai 40+8 RC is a medium-sized backpack for multi-day trekking tours. Its ultra comfortable FIT back system has a pre-shaped back plate with aereation channels for enhanced airflow and special body-contact panels for best fit and load transmission. The molded back plate is made of durable EVA with a laminated stretch fabric cover for extra durability. The backpack features a height-adjustable top lid for 8 additional liters of volume, a hiking pole fixation, an integrated rain cover, and it's hydration system compatible.

Adjustable top lid
Height-adjustable top lid for volume expansion. Depending on the backpack model, the adjustment provides 8 to 10 additional litres.

Integrated side pocket
Pockets for additional storage hold a 1.5-litre drinking bottle. If not used, the pockets don’t not show.

Hipbelt pocket
Small pocket integrated in the hip belt for safekeeping of small valuables that need to be close at hand at all times.

Pole fixation
Straps on the outside of the backpack used to attach the poles for easy transport and quick reach.

Integrated raincover
Rain cover that is stowed in a small zipped pocket, always at hand.

H20 compatible
The H2O feature is designed to guarantee compatibility with all modern hydration systems. Such drinking systems allow a continuous and easy water supply at any time while keeping the rucksack on the back.

1. EVA moulded back with skinfriendly fabric cover ergonomic shape and long back length. 2. Body-contact back panel for exceptionally good fit of the backpack. 3. Pre-shaped back plate with integrated aeration channels allows improved air ventilation. 4. Anatomically shaped hip wings with pelvic bone recess ensure secure fit. 5. Removable additional back plate with integrated aluminium bars stabilise the back system.
