System Center Essentials 2010, 64-bit Disk Kit, IT MVL Microsoft System Center Essentials 2010 (Essentials 2010) is a new management solution in the System Center family of IT systems management products specifically designed for midsized businesses with up to 50 servers and 500 clients. Essentials 2010 provides a unified management solution that enables IT professionals in midsize organizations to manage their IT environment with increased efficiency.

Includes ML (management license) for management of the server operating system environments (OSEs) running on the device to which the license is assigned up to the product technical limit of 50 server OSEs. You only need to purchase one Server ML for each physical server device.

System Center Essentials 2010 Licensing
The Microsoft System Center Essentials licensing model requires a management server software (the application used to manage clients and servers) license and a management license (ML) is required for each physical server or client device on which you want to manage operating system environments. Clients and servers managed with System Center Essentials 2010 may be licensed individually as follows:

- System Center Essentials Management Server Software: A license for the System Center Essentials 2010 management server software, which either comes with SQL Server Express, or can be purchased as a “with SQL 2008 Technology”edition that comes with SQL Server Standard Edition, available on a per instance basis. Before you run any instance of the server software under a software license, you must assign that license to your System Center Essentials management server;
- System Center Essentials Server ML: A System Center Essentials 2010 Server ML must be acquired for each physical server device on which your managed OSEs will run. You may manage any number of OSEs on each licensed server device up to the System Center Essentials software technical limit of 50 server OSEs for each System Center Essentials deployment;
- System Center Essentials Client ML: A System Center Essentials 2010 Client ML must be acquired for each physical client device on which your managed OSEs will run. You may manage any number of OSEs on each licensed client device up to the System Center Essentials software technical limit of 500 client OSEs for each System Center Essentials deployment.
