Automatic fan run-on
The automatic fan run-on function ensures extraction of steam and odours which are still in the air after cooking. The rangehood can be set to switch off automatically after 5 or 15 minutes.
Countdown time conveniently in view
If the grease or active charcoal filter of your Miele rangehood is saturated, the red LED indicator will light up. Your filter should then be cleaned or replaced as soon as possible. You can individually adjust the factory-set service life of the filters: The grease filter saturation indicator can be programmed for 20, 30, 40 or 50 hours, the indicator for active charcoal filter replacement for 120, 180 or 240 hours.
State-of-the-art convenience
Miele's remote operation offers particularly convenient control of your rangehood. Aside from controlling the fan and illumination, the light can be dimmed or the run-on function can be activated.
Automatic operation for intelligent fan control
Achieving optimum extraction of kitchen vapours and odours - while also saving energy: a Miele cooker hood equipped with Con@ctivity does this automatically. Miele Con@ctivity enables the cooker hood to communicate with the hob. Information gathered from the hob is transmitted to the cooker hood. The cooker hood then uses this data to automatically select the correct fan setting to ensure the optimum room climate at all times. Your Miele cooker hood then uses this data to automatically select the correct fan setting to ensure the optimum room microclimate at all times. So you can concentrate completely on the cooking process. You don't even have to remember to switch off the appliance. With the automatic run-on control, the cooker hood will switch itself off automatically after you have finished cooking so you do not use any more energy than is necessary. In addition, manual operation is possible.
Fitted ex works
Some Miele cooker hoods already feature the new Con@ctivity 2.0 function. The significant difference is the use of RF technology which ensures reliable communication between the hob and the cooker hood. The communication module is installed ex works in the cooker hood and the necessary module for the Miele hob is shipped with the cooker hood.

Programmable maximum power
The 'Intensive' setting provides very high air flow and is meant only for brief operation, for instance, when heavy smoke or strong odours develop if food is burned. The 'Intensive' setting can be programmed so that the fan automatically switches back to Setting 3 after 10 minutes. This avoids unnecessary energy consumption.
